Q: What is Project Archives?


A: Project Archives is part of an effort to bring back the stories of days gone by back to Darkscribes.org for all of the web to enjoy. Second it is a way to separate the authors that are no longer with us but still have stories here into a separate category.

Q: Is this site free to signup for?


A: Yes.

Q: How do I signup?


A: Click on the Join link in the top navigation bar.

Q: How do I post stories?


A: On the side menus, there is a UserCP menu. Click on the Add Story/Chapter link.

Q: The system says that I have stories that are published yet I can't find them anywhere on the site. Where are they? And what's this about my user needing to be approved?


A: When you signup for this site an account is created for you where you can post stories and such but those stories won't be visible to the public until an Administrator approves your work and then of course, approves your user. Only then will your stories be visible to the general public.

Q: Ok, I've been approved. Is there anything else I have to do?


A: Nope. Just post your stories.

Q: Do I have to have my stories approved by an Administrator?


A: Nope.

Q: Do my stories go live immediately for the world to see?


A: Yes, unless your user hasn't been approved by an Administrator.

Q: I would like to contact an author but the author's email address isn't viewable. How do I contact the author?


A: The author has chosen not to show their email address. You can however contact the author via a special contact form.

Q: Do you sell my email address?


A: HELL NO! See our Privacy Policy for more details.
